Experienced Timber Harvester & Forwarder Operators

We are seeking highly experienced operators to join our harvesting team. We have a consistent pipeline of work and need reliable drivers who know their way around a cab and a site map. This is not a trainee position; proven experience is strictly essential.

We are based in Ross on Wye Herefordshire but cover a wide area mainly around the South West and S Wales, accommodation will be provided when working away.

Core Requirements

  • Proven Track Record: Experience operating Harvesters or Forwarders in varied terrain (steep ground/thinning’s/clear-fell).

  • Technical Skill: You must be able to meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards (accurate processing and minimal ground damage).

  • Mechanical Competency: Ability to handle on-site maintenance, hose changes, and sharpening without supervision.

  • Valid Tickets: Full FMOC (or equivalent) and First Aid +F are mandatory, Full Driving Licence, Training Provided.

The Equipment

  • You will be operating: Komatsu 845 or Komatsu 931xc

  • Our fleet is well-maintained to ensure maximum uptime.
